Space Junk
Our Friday morning group promotes mental health wellbeing through art and is National Lottery Funded. The class runs on Fridays (in term time) from the Beachcomber on the seafront. The classes are free to attend, and we explore a wide range of materials and different arts and crafts, all with an mental wellbeing focus.
This sculpture is made from all the junk the group found lying around their house, from old cables, obsolete technology and even some old bike wheels! Its amazing how our consumerist culture creates so much stuff that just ends up lying around in our homes. Much like all the junk that orbits the world out in space.
