Hazeldown Primary School
Wild About Wildlife
Our sculpture is made from a variety of recycled materials. On the inside of our butterfly structure each class has illustrated one local, endangered wildlife creature on a piece of material. The sculpture demonstrates collaboration on a whole school scale with each child at the school, including Little Acorns, putting their fingerprint on their class artwork. The outside of the butterfly was created by children across the school, working together during their Forest School activities.
Through this sculpture the children, and staff, want to encourage the public to be more mindful of the wildlife in our area and support their survival and habitats. It would be fantastic if you too could support the local wildlife in your area.
