The ‘Outer Space Treaty of 1967’ claims – no matter whose national flags are planted on the lunar surface – no nation can ‘own’ the Moon. However, these are just some of the objects prior to that treaty that litter the moon: the tube that the US flag had been rolled up in, the TV camera they’d used to send footage back to Earth, tools, 96 bags of human waste, a family photo, flags, human ashes, two artworks, commemorate objects, a feather, hammer, moon buggies, a bible on the dashboard of a buggy and Golf balls.
