Making Waves
Media: Reclaimed Beer stone from a Torquay Chapel, The proposed centre (currently very
badly drawn) will be made of ‘Bits and bobs’ (Things picked up from the street, from the
beach, things left over that ‘could be useful one day’ and really cool bits of rubbish), Glue,
shoe polish, paint.
Artist statement:
I trained as a sculptor, graduating from Wimbledon School of Art in 2000. My work
demonstrates a unique blend of experimental and traditional techniques, materials and
aesthetics; a sense of history in a contemporary object. I incorporate a variety of materials
from stone and wood carving to assemblages of recycled and reclaimed materials to create
relief paintings and sculptures
